<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability, maintainability, and sound insulating property of a grommet with silencer by constituting a silencer by successively providing a hard sound insulating section and a soft sound absorbing section and only inserting the hard sound insulating section into a grommet section. SOLUTION: The large-diameter section 33b of the grommet section 33 of a grommet 31 with silencer is passed through and held in a dash panel while the sound insulating section 53 of a silencer 35 is inserted into the section 33b in a state where an electric wire 45 is passed through the silencer 35. The recessed section 49 of the sound insulating section 53 made of a hard material having a high sound insulating property is held while the section 49 is engaged with a silencer holding rib 43 and improves not only the sound insulation to the dash panel, but also the holding force and workability. In addition, a sound absorbing section 55 made of a soft material having a high sound absorbing property is provided at the end section of the sound insulating section 53 and intercepts the intrusion of sounds into a car room by absorbing minor sounds transmitted from the section 53.</p> |
