<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a main board in common by constituting a CPU board where only a CPU is mounted and a secondary-cache mounted CPU board so that their numbers of pins are the same. SOLUTION: This processor consists of a processor 1 as the CPU of a TCP package, cache memories 2 and 3 as SRAMs, a 160-pin projection-side connector 4 which is connected to the main board, a 160-pin recessed-side collector (J2) 5 which is connected to the main board, a dumping and pull-up chip resistance (J1) 6, a chip capacitor 7 as a bypass capacitor a module resistance 8, mode setting and terminating resistances 9 and 10, and the secondary-cache mounted CPU board 11. To make the signal wiring with the processor 1 as short as possible, the wiring is sandwiched between the projection-side connector (J2) 4 and recessed-side connector (J1) 5. To secure a wiring area for the cache memories 2 and 3, the chip resistance 6, chip capacitor 7, module resistance 8, and mode setting and terminating resistances 9 and 10 are mounted on the periphery of the secondary-cache mounted CPU board 11.</p> |
