The boot divider has panels (3a-g) which are articulated together to occupy a folded position in a hollow compartment (2a) of the rear seat (2) of the vehicle or a deployed position in which the panels are disposed perpendicularly to the base of the boot and define compartments between them. The panels include at least one main panel connected to the rear seat (2) by a pivot axis which is vertical and multiple secondary panels which can extend from the main panel.
