PORTABLE SMART CARD READER CAPABLE OF BEING USED EVEN WHEN STORED IN A HOLDER

A portable smart card reader (1) is disclosed. The reader is designed so that it can be used even when it is stored in a holder. For this purpose, one side of the reader includes an attachment means (4) enabling the reader to be attached to the wall of a card holder compartment without obstructing the card insertion slot (3). The attachment system enables easy operation of the reader at all times. The smart card may be inserted in a direction perpendicular or parallel to the direction in which data is displayed on the display device of the reader (1).
