<p>The present invention relates to pharmaceutical composition for protection of hematopoietic progenitor cells, comprising thrombospondin or active fragments or active muteins thereof as effective substances. The composition is useful for the treatment of antitumoral drugs-induced hematocytopenia and thrombocytosis as the result of megakaryocyclosis, as well as amplification of hematopoietic stem cells and progenitor cells in vitro.</p> |
