Joining process for stack of sheets and cover components

The joining process fits covers round stacks of sheets. The stacks (1) and the cover sheets (11) are connected to each other in a joining track (9) in double multipurpose size measurements, by folding the cover sheet in folding devices (23,26) through the edge strips (16) on both sides of the track. The stacks and cover components may be joined to each other while they are being continuously fed along the joining track. The cover components may have fold lines preformed in them on the binding side, so that the top of the stack is covered by the cover sheet.
