Injection moulding of piston for car brake hydraulic master cylinder in glass reinforced plastic

In this method a resin piston (2) is cast. The mould is prepared with a piston-shaped cavity (1d), a projection (1f, 1g) and an injection port (1e) for the molten resin. The projection transfixes the cavity, running perpendicularly to the axis. The injection port (1e) lies on the axis. Molten resin is injected through the port into the cavity. Also claimed is a unit as described, for injection moulding of pistons.
