The steam converter (10) involves a bearer (20) which has a surface (21) arranged upstream and a downstream surface (22). The bearer also has a number of apertures (4), in which mixing components (5) are arranged which impart an angle and rotary speed to the overheated steam and the water droplets passing through it. The downstream end of the bearer is conical, whilst the upstream end has the form of a blunt cone. A nozzle (8), which also has the form of a blunt cone, extends from the upstream end. A guide arm (6) extends radially from the side wall of the tube (1) downstream from the upstream surface and the nozzle. Through this arm flowing water is in communication with the hole (7) arranged within the bearer along the longitudinal axis (2) in order to provide a fluid flow of water droplets in a direction opposite to that of the moving overheated steam.
