Security lock with bolt moved by pinion turned by key

The security lock incorporates a bolt (1) with teeth (2) along at least one side. It may engage with the teeth of a pinion which may be turned by a key (4-7). The key has a specially-shaped bit (6) extending at right-angles to the shaft (4) and attached to the shaft at the end nearest the end of the shaft. There is a small gap (7) between most of the length of the bit and the shaft.
