Yarn tension control at warping

The winding of a yarn sheet (12), especially from a creel, is controlled according to a measured yarn tension. The tension of several separate yarns is measured successively and from the individual measurements at predetermined time intervals, a mean yarn tension is calculated and used for common tensioning of all the yarns.
