The seed handling equipment consists of a mobile frame supporting a reservoir of seeds. It is formed as a parallelepiped, extended downwards by an inverted pyramid. The reservoir is compartmented in the middle of its length to form two equal tanks (1,2), of equal capacity. One thank (1) is towards the front and the other tank (2), towards the rear. On the left hand side, with reference to the direction of travel, and below the two tanks, there are two valves (3,4). These valves allow the seeds passage through to the transport screw, through the tube (5). The screw rises at about 80 degrees along the left hand wall in the plane of separation of the two tanks. It extends above the two tanks and at its summit is a distributor (6), which can be oriented to discharge the seed by gravity. Between the two valves and the base of the transport screw, there are injectors, with adjustable needles (11). The injectors are fed from a tank (9), containing any required treatment liquid.
