The cutting beams are joined to one another by two rings in a peripheral direction and support milling tools comprising chisels with holders. The holders with the chisels are located around a rotary axis and may be tilted. Two chisel holders (4) are provided, of which the one is for right-hand rotating milling work and the other for left-hand rotating milling work. The holders are arranged hinge-fashion in the rotary direction on both sides of a cutting beam (1) in the area of the milling roller inner edges. Exchangeable chisels (5) are fixed to the holders. Driver plates are formed in the area of the chisel points acting as cutters (7).
