COLLAPSIBLE CARRYING CASE

A carrying case (1) which can be opened or collapsed is disclosed. The carrying case (1) has at least a first nestable module (10) and a second nestable module (12). The first module (10) has a bottom portion which has an inward projection (10a, 10b). A side portion of the first module has a compartment (21) which can be withdrawn from the first module. A second module (12) has a top portion which has an outward projection (12c, 12d) and a side portion of the second module has a compartment (13) which can be withdrawn from the second module, wherein the outward and inward projections of the first and second modules cooperate as a stop means for controlling the opening of the case. The first and second modules are nestable within one another and are adapted to slidably open into a position to provide access to the compartments.
