The invention concerns a device for the high-frequency catheter ablation of endomyocardial tissue, said device comprising an ablation catheter and an associated connection to a high-frequency generator or high-frequency ablation apparatus. According to the invention, in order to facilitate catheter ablation and reduce the amount of time and treatment necessary therefor, a catheter arrangement comprising a plurality of electrodes is provided, wherein a plurality of electrodes can be controlled selectively in order to coagulate preferably endomyocardial tissue.
