<p>PURPOSE:To alleviate burden on an operator remarkably upon malfunction of cooler for turbine generator. CONSTITUTION:In a cooler for turbine generator wherein cooling medium, e.g. air or hydrogen gas, is circulated through ventilation paths formed in the stator frame, stator and rotor of a turbine generator by means of a fan fixed to the rotary shaft and a plurality of sets of cooling medium coolers are disposed in the stator frame oppositely to the ventilation path, temperature sensors 9 are arranged at respective parts in the generator and temperature detection signals are delivered from respective sensors 9 to a converter 101. A comparator 105 compares the temperature detection values with a prescribed value and when the temperature detection value is higher than the prescribed value, a governor control section 106 delivers a decision signal for throttling the governor of prime mover which drives a turbine generator.</p> |
