A method and apparatus of manufacturing laminate for honeycomb structure. The invention includes first and second adhesive agent applying units (5, 25, 6, 24), each of which applies an adhesive agent to a material strip in parallel strips, first and second pressing rolls (20, 29, 19, 28) corresponding to each of said adhesive agent applying units (5, 25, 6, 24), and a layering table (12, 30) reciprocated by a predetermined stroke. The second stripes of the adhesive agent is displaced transversely by a half pitch from the first stripes of the adhesive agent. The adhesive agent applying units (5, 25, 6, 24) and the pressing rolls (20, 29, 19, 28) are disposed immediately above the layering table (12, 30) and presses a layered strip (18, 31, 46, 50) of the material strip (4), and are moved between an operating position (5A, 25A, 6A, 24A, 20A, 29A, 19A, 28A) and an un-operating position (5B, 25B, 6B, 24B, 20B, 29B, 19B, 28B) with relation to the movement of the layering table (12, 30). <IMAGE> |
