The capillary pipe installation structure of a refrigerator is provided with a capillary pipe installed between a compressor and an evaporator, to thereby reduce the temperature of refrigerant flowing within the capillary pipe to a maximum, such that a cooling period of the refrigerator is shortened and thus consumption power can be greatly decreased. The capillary pipe installation structure in installing the capillary pipe(21) for supplying the refrigerant from the condenser(20) to the evaporator(10), is characterized in that the capillary pipe(21) is formed in a suction pipe(31) between the evaporator(10) and the compressor(30).
