<p>The heat exchanger consists of a fluid chamber cover (1) with an edge (4) shaped to engage with the peripheral channel (16) of a collector plate (2) and a seal. The edges (12) of the plate are turned upwards and cut to form projections which act as retaining lugs for the cover. The edge (4) of the cover is made with alternating portions of different thicknesses, forming recesses to receive the turned-over tips of the retaining lugs. The cover can be made, for example, by moulding, and the thicker portions (19) round its edge are spaced at intervals equivalent to the width of the lugs.</p> |
