PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water from entering a pressure transmitting section or leaking outside by a method wherein a porous and water-repelling gas/liquid separation film is mounted on a gas path of an electrochemical cell, the electrochemical cell is fed with a direct current and a fluid storage section is pushed by a gas generated to supply a fluid. SOLUTION: A gas/liquid separation film 14 is mounted on an oxygen path 10 of an electrochemical cell. Another gas/liquid separation film 15 is mounted on a hydrogen path 11. The gas/liquid separation films 14 and 15 employ a porous Teflon (R) sheet and is formed with the thickness of about 0.2mm, porosity of about 30% and the maximum pore diameter of about 0.15μm. The electrochemical cell is fed with a direct current to perform an electrolysis. Oxygen generated is sent to a pressure transmitting section to push out a fluid from a fluid storage section. Hydrogen is discharged through the hydrogen path. At this point, water accompanied by the oxygen and hydrogen is absorbed by the gas/liquid separation films 14 and 15 and none thereof moves further. |
