PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a condition capable of meeting restarting at any time while suppressing fuel consumption when a vehicle is stopped, in a driving gear for the vehicle equipped with an engine and a motor generator. SOLUTION: A driving gear for a vehicle has an engine 10, motor generator 40, battery 44, clutch 21 and a control means 50. In the control means 50, when a stop condition is detected, the clutch 21 is released supply of fuel to the engine 10 is set to a prescribed amount smaller than at idling time, power is supplied to the motor generator 40, and by its driving, rotational speed of the engine 10 is maintained to almost an idling speed. |
