<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of cracks when a filter is regenerated, and to improve the regeneration efficiency. SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device 1 is provided with a heating means 11 to heat filters 9a, 9b with hot air, an air blowing means 13 provided on the upstream side of the filter 9a, 9b, a particulate collecting means 12 to collect the particulates to be carried by the air flow generated by the air blowing means 13, and a switching valve to switch the flow passage of an exhaust pipe. After the combustible contents in the particulates are removed by heating the filters 9a, 9b in the temperature range of 200-500 deg.C by the heating means 11, the residual contents of the particulates are removed by the particulate collecting means 12. Because the heat generation of the filters 9a, 9b is suppressed to reduce the temperature gradient, generation of cracks is prevented, and the regeneration efficiency is also improved.</p> |
