PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure both good wet performance and passing-noise performance without deteriorating draining performance when traveling straight. SOLUTION: One or two straight circumferential grooves 2 are provided at the center of a tread 1, and right and left main lug grooves 3 extending in the cross direction of the tire toward the outside of the tire from both sides of the groove 2 are placed while being inclined toward the side opposite to the direction of tire rotation, the inclination angleαof the main lug groove 3 being set at 15 to 35 deg.. Right and left subsidiary lug grooves 4 extending in the cross direction of the tire toward the outside of the tire from both sides of the circumferential groove 2 are placed while being inclined in the circumferential direction of the tire by 90 deg. or in the direction of tire rotation at an inclination angleβof not more than 120 deg..
