PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a diffuser lightweight and reduce the weight of an air bag device. SOLUTION: This air bag device is provided with an air bag 15, a cylinder type inflator 28 having a gas discharge port 28b for discharging the expansion gas to the air bag 15, and a diffuser 20. The diffuser 28 is arranged between a gas inflow port 15a provided on the air bag 15 and the gas discharge port 28b of the inflator 28, and it has gas flow holes 20a, 20b arranged at the prescribed positions and diffusing the gas flowing into the diffuser 28. The diffuser 20 is formed with a heat-resistant fabric material. |
