PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a die structure without requiring a slide core by forming the rear fitting wall within the front and rear fitting walls in the same direction as the rapping direction, and forming multiple reinforcing ribs parallel with the rapping direction between the rear fitting wall and the back face of a cover body section. SOLUTION: The rear fitting wall 24a within the front and rear fitting walls 24b, 24a is formed with a slant wall in the same direction as the rapping direction. Multiple reinforcing ribs 26 having a flat triangular shape parallel with the rapping direction are formed between the rear fitting wall 24a formed with the slant wall and a cover body section 16 from the viewpoint of securing the strength of the rear fitting wall 24a and guiding the jumping-out direction of an air bag. The upper front ends of the reinforcing ribs 26 are arranged adjacently to the rupturing fragile section B of the cover body section 16. A slide core formed on the rapping direction side of the rear fitting wall 24a in the past is not required, and a die structure is simplified. |
