PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new bioelectrode for an electroencephalograph or an electrocardiograph. SOLUTION: This disporable electrode is used in electric contact with the skin or scalp of a sleeping patient to record the radio wave or brain wave, and its contains a conductive composition having the volume receptivity in the range of 1000-1500Ω. This composition serves as an adhesive to the skin or scalp due to its re-wettability characteristic, and it contains (1) hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol, (2) high-hygroscopic salt selected from alkaline metal salts or organic chloride salts, (3) high-electrolyte salt, and (4) metal powder selected from aluminum, bronze, and silver. |
