<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which shortens FCOT(First Copy Output Time), improves operability of an intermediate tray, and can easily deal with paper clogging. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a plurality of paper feed trays 1a-1e vertically arranged in many steps, an image forming part 4 forming an image on a paper sheet fed from some tray of a plurality of the paper feed trays 1a-1e, a fixing device 7 executing fixing treatment against the paper sheet formed with the image by the image forming part 4, and an intermediate tray 8 once receiving the paper sheet on which the image is fixed by the fixing device 7 for refeeding. The intermediate tray 8 is arranged on the position where the length of the paper sheet carrying route from the discharge rollers pair 7a of the fixing device 7 to the inlet rollers pair 9a of the intermediate tray 8 is nearly equal to the length in the carrying direction of the maximum sized paper sheet used in this device.</p> |
