PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burnishing method by which the correction accuracy of the dimension of an inner diameter can be enhanced and the shape of a through hole can be controlled by a simple means. SOLUTION: A cylindrical member 1 is set in a base member 2 so as to direct its axis in the up and down direction and after that, a diameter-spreading spherical body 5 is pressed into the upper open end part of a through hole 1a before a passing-through spherical body 4 is inserted therethrough and after that, the diameter-spreading spherical body 5 is extracted upward, thereby spreading the diameter of the open end part side in advance. After that, the passing-through spherical body 4 is inserted therethrough Therefore, the correction of the dimension is performed while the shape of the through hole 1a is maintained in a middle-projected form. |
