PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a grease composition good in low-temperature performance, improved in shear stability involving microvibration and fretting resistance, thus suitable for lubricating use in precision equipment transportation or operation, comprising a base oil, a specific thickener and a calcium compound. SOLUTION: This grease composition comprises (A) a base oil containing mineral oil or synthetic oil [e.g. 5-60mm<2> /s (esp. 10-40mm<2> /s) in dynamic viscosity at 40 deg.C], (B) e.g. 5-20wt.% of a thickener prepared by reaction between (B1 ) an amine, i.e., alicyclic amine (e.g. cyclohexylamine), aromatic amine (e.g. p- toluidine, benzylamine) or aliphatic amine (e.g. octylamine, laurylamine) and (B2 ) a diisocyanate such as diphenylmethane-4-4'-diisocyanate, and (C) e.g. 0.1-20wt.% of a calcium compound such as calcium carbonate. |
