PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the speed at a constant acceleration so as to maintain the constant braking distance in the case where an advance direction command from a forward and backward movement switching lever and the rotating direction of the motor are different from each other by controlling the acceleration at the predetermined acceleration. SOLUTION: When a forward and backward movement switching lever 14 is fallen to the forward movement position and an accel pedal 1 is operated, a torque command computing means 2 outputs the torque command 1T1 corresponding to the operated variableθ. In the case where the rotating directions coincide with each other, the torque command switching means 4 selects the torque command 1T1 *. Consequently, a motor 10 outputs the torque corresponding to the operated variableθ. Thereafter, when the lever 14 is switched to the backward movement position, since the advance direction command D* and the rotating direction ND of the motor are different from each other, the switching means 4 selects the torque command 2T2 *. As a result, acceleration of the motor 10 is controlled for deceleration on the basis of the acceleration commandα* at the predetermined value. Namely, even in the case where the movable load of a forklift and inclination of a road surface are changed, since the acceleration is controlled, speed is reduced at a constant acceleration. |
