A function selection method and interface circuit for a lap-top computer are provided. The function selection method determines the FDD function usage or a printer function usage after the user presses a control key, converts an output Q of D flip-flop(F/F1) to a 'high' or 'low' level according to a selected function, and selects a FDD function or printer function.
