摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a 3-chloropropylsilane in high yield, useful for silane- coupling agents while its side-reactions such as reductive reaction are suppressed, by allowing allyl chloride to react with a hydrosilane in the presence of a mixture of a specific phosphine and a platinum catalyst. SOLUTION: Allyl chloride of formula I and a hydrosilane such as trichlorosilane are allowed to react with each other in the presence of a mixture of a phosphine of formula II (R<1> -R<3> are each a primary alkyl or a primary aralkyl) such as tribenzylphosphine and a platinum catalyst such as 2-ethylhexyl chloroplatinate solution under heating and mild reflux to give the objective 3-chloropropyltrichlorosilane such as 3-chloropropyltrichlorosilane useful as a raw material for producing silane-coupling agents and a variety of silicone compound is high yield while side-reaction such as reductive reaction are suppressed low.
