PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous heat-treating apparatus for a food material, equipped with a means for safely and rapidly opening and closing a cover corresponding to an operation state of the apparatus. SOLUTION: This apparatus is equipped with a base frame 14, a heating source 16 and a chain conveyor 12 as a continuous transporting means. Plural covers 18 are installed so as to cover bamboo cylinders 11 on spit rods 10 to be transported over the heating source. The ends of frames 19 fixed to the covers 18 are screwed to the base frame 14. The other base frame is provided with supporting levers 5 furnished with engaging tools 1, having a long leg and a short leg, rotatably by pins 4. The covers 18 constituting a tunnel-like chamber are individually openably and closably installed. |
