PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the safety of an apparatus for electrosurgery. SOLUTION: This apparatus 10 for electrosurgery is provided with a first insulating coating layer 20 covering the portion except for an action region and a connection region for connecting a high-frequency voltage power source for electrosurgery within the surface of an electrode 12. The first insulating coating layer 20 is covered with a conductive coating layer 21, and the potential possibly generated by undesirable capacitive coupling and the leak current generated when defective insulation occurs on the first insulating coating layer 20 can be safely dissipated when the conductive coating layer 21 is connected to the group potential, or the conductive coating layer 21 is connected to an impedance measuring circuit, the insulation state of the first insulating coating layer 20 is detected, and an alarm is generated when the insulation state is deteriorated. The conductive coating layer 21 is covered and protected with a second insulating coating layer 26, and the safety of the apparatus 10 for electrosurgery is further increased when it is used. |
