PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the bucket excavating performance and simplify bucket link mechanism. SOLUTION: The hydraulic shovel is provided with the first pin 45a to mount the tail of a front link 45 at the rod ends of bucket cylinders 39a, 39b, the second pin 45b to mount the central part of the front link 45 to wrist links 44a, 44b, and the third pin 45c to mount the tip of the front link 45 on the bucket 38. The angleαformed between the center line Lx tying the first pin 45a to the second pin 45b and the center line LY tying the second pin 45b to the third pin 45c is made variable.
