PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the alignment of a container so that the container is not deviated from a pattern, etc., of a lid by providing an alignment member provided with a recessed part to be aligned with a lower end part of a body wall of the container, and providing an elevating/lowering means to elevate/ lower the alignment member so that the recessed part is advanced/retracted to/from the lower end part of the body wall of the container. SOLUTION: When a slat 22 is carried in a seal station, a seal head 36 is ordered to wait at the upper limit, and an alignment ring 55 is ordered to wait at the lower limit. When the slat 22 is carried in and stopped, the alignment ring 55 is elevated together with a supporting arm 54, and if a body wall S of a container is eccentric to the alignment ring 55, alignment is made on a circumferential surface 62 of the alignment ring 55. When the alignment ring 55 is elevated close to the upper limit, a bottom part of a container C is received by a bottom surface 63 of a recess, and the container C is pushed up by the alignment ring 55. When the seal head 36 is then lowered, a lid L is heat-sealed to a flange F, and a part corresponding to the lid is punched at the same time. |
