PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform proper and rapid grinding through a simple work without removing a cutting member from under-mentioned given devices when a cutting member being an object to be ground is attached to the given devices and apparatuses. SOLUTION: A grinding device comprises a grinding work tool 4 to grind the blade part 9a of a desired cutting member 9; a support means 3 to support the grinding work tool 4 in a given attaching attitude state; a guide rail 2 to effect movement guide of the support means 3 so that the support means 3 is movable on a linear locus; and at least one or more brackets 1 and 1 for a guide rail to support the guide rail 2. The brackets 1 and 1 for a guide rail has a mounting means 11 has a mounting means 11 to removably mount the bracket 1 for a guide rail on the cutting member 9 or a fixing member to support the cutting member 9 so that the guide rail 2 is securely arranged along the blade part 9a of the cutting member 9.
