<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply air sufficiently and uniformly and improve the treatment capability by sucking foul water and air from a treatment tank, mixing both of them together and providing a circulating means for discharging a mixture into the upper section of foul water in the treatment tank and also into the foul water. SOLUTION: Foul water from a kitchen or the like is flowed from a water intake pit 2, passed through a garbage receiving basket 3 and stored in a treatment tank 14a in a treatment tank 12. Then the oil content in the foul water is floated, while garbages of a large specific gravity are precipitated, and intermediate water between them is flowed into the treatment tank 14b. When a submersible pump 9 in the treatment tank 14b is actuated, air is sucked from an air suction pipe 1 together with water, and air and water are mixed and passed through a connecting pipe 13 and fed into piping 5, and then drained from an upper shower nozzle 4. A lower layer agitating nozzle 10 is provided on the piping 5 to jet mixed water containing air to a precipitated layer. The separation of oil and the decomposition of microbes are accelerated evenly in respective tanks by the arrangement.</p> |
