PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the precipitation of buff powder by mounting a needle at the end of a container body and mounting a cylinder adapter on a flange at the rear end of the container body so that buff powder in buff liquid can be stirred by air bubbles in accordance with a pressure difference between air inside and outside of a cylinder. SOLUTION: A buff liquid supply device used in polishing a connector for an optical fiber comprises a cylindrical container body 11, a needle 12 mounted at the end thereof and a cylinder adapter 13 mounted on a flange at the rear end of the container body 11 via an O-ring 14 and provided with an air distribution port 19 at the center. During buff polishing, compressed air is supplied to the air distribution port 19 to force buff liquid 17 out of the needle 12, but air pressure from the air vent port 19 is varied at this time to float air to be bubbled in the liquid for stirring effect, the precipitation of buff powder 18 and prevent the fouling of the needle 12 when being used. |
