A terminating number speaker for a telephone generates a terminating sound when sensing a terminating signal in a telephone, and generates a voice signal indicating an inherent number of the telephone by using a voice mixer. Accordingly, the user can easily know a terminated telephone among a plurality of telephones. The terminating number speaker includes: a regulator(11) for making an output voltage of bridge diode(BD) as a constant-voltage, and providing the constant-voltage as a driving voltage of each part; a voice ROM(13) for storing a vocal data indicating an inherent number of a telephone; a voice processing IC(12) for receiving an output signal of a crystal oscillator(Xi) as a synchronization clock, receiving an output voltage of the bridge diode(BD) to a write terminal via a resistor(R2), reading a vocal data by indicating a voice ROM(13)'s address, and converting the vocal data to an audio signal; and a filter/amplifier(15) for filting/amplifying the audio signal, and outputting it to the speaker(SP).
