Spider for sports or hunting bow

The spider has two angled extensions (14,15) connected to its base. It has fixture devices (16,17) for a cross-stabiliser serving to increase the inherent weight of the bow and reducing the sensitivity of the bow to the effect of side winds. The spider has a formation as a tool for transmission of a torque required for turning the spider carrier (20) into a hole (31) in the middle piece (30) of the bow. An opening (11) has devices for securing the free end (22,23) of the spider carrier facing in the shooting direction. The opening is structured in a cylindrical bore (12) and a non-circular recess (13).
