The present invention relates to a new type of fluid purification apparatus, with high flow capacity, preferably for the purification of diesel fuel, which can also be used for any other type of fuel or fluid. The apparatus comprises a hollow metal cylinder (1.1) wherein is incorporated a cartridge (13.1) having an inlet (3.3) at the top part corresponding with the external threaded tube coupled to the cylinder and forming the inlet for the fuel or fluid, and another one having a larger diameter (3.2) at the lower part of the apparatus, in the opposite face, and opening at less than 45 DEG in the lower portion; breakwater (3.4-3.8) plates which, due to their design and positioning, reduce the pressure of the incoming flow of the diesel fuel into the purification apparatus, and additionally a plate positioned diameterally inside the cylinder, and a threaded tube (1.3) for letting out the purified diesel fuel or fluid. |
