The laser beam (2) is aimed by the two-dimensional directing device (4) on the card (6). The intensity of the beam and its cross-section are varied by the screening unit (7). The screening unit is based on a screening body (70) limiting the laser beam. An electronically controlled galvanometer and swivelling motor (71) are mounted on the swivelling axis. The screening body is swivelled in stages in a set range relative to the beam, each angle corresponding to a defined shading-off of the beam.
