Triazine derivatives represented by general formula (I) wherein R represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, or lower fluoroalkyl; R<1>, R<2>, and R<3> are the same or different and each represents hydrogen, optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl, or heterocycle; R<4> represents hydrogen or lower alkyl; and R<5> represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, or lower fluoroalkyl. The compounds are useful as herbicides, insecticides/miticides, and bactericides.
