Electromechanical water softening unit

A water softening unit has six internal electrode plates (9) with offset holes. They are supplied with current at 24-26 V direct current, to accelerate calcium carbonate deposition onto their surfaces. Preferably, to avoid blockage, 5 plastic scrapers (4) remove the deposits, driven by an electrical motor (1). A filter removes the deposits, which promotes a state of constant operational readiness and effectiveness.
