Press shell 7 for a press arrangement comprising a mouldable elastomer material for the processing of a material in web form, especially for use in a paper machine, into which press shell successive layers of reinforcements of a hardened shell material have been moulded, and in which press shell there are only two layers with reinforcing filaments 15, 16. The axially running longitudinal filaments 15 form an inner layer on which wrapping filaments 16 have been helically wound.
