The padding (11) consists of several layers (11a-d) of an upholstery padding material with at least one of the layers removable from the padding for individually adapting to the needs of the user. At least one of the layers can be of an elastically deformable material such as foam material. At least one of the layers can have at the back a fixing element so that the layer can be fixed to the front of the seat back wall or to the front of the preceding layer. The upper layer facing the user can have an indentation with curvatures each side for the back muscles of the user.
