An adjusting device includes a threaded rod (2) and a nut (10) that coacts with the thread (12) on the rod and that can rotate relative to the rod. The device also includes means (13, 17) for lataching the nut or the rod against movement in the longitudinal direction of the rod. The nut (10) includes an opening that enables the nut to be fitted to the rod (2) from a radial direction relative to the rod. A lock ring (15) surrounds the rod and coacts with a nut (10) fitted to the rod such as to keep the threads of the nut and the rod in mutual meshing engagement. |
