<p>A seal for the doors of power station flue gas deflecting dampers, including at least one resilient flexible elongate slat (18) mounted on the door (10) or door frame (12) and designed to be bent by the moving door (10) so that it seals said door against the frame (12). Said slat (18) is curved according to a predetermined radius of curvature and combined with a mounting holder (14) having a planar surface (14a) and a longitudinal edge (14b) that curves out of the plane of the planar surface (14a) and away from the door (10) or door frame. Furthermore, one longitudinal edge of the slat (18) is attached to the convex side of the curved edge (14b) of the holder (14), and the opposite longitudinal edge of the slat (18) is freely supported on the planar surface (14a) of the holder (14) or the door (10).</p> |
