The connector has a current supply plug connector part (B) and a current load connector part (A). The supply connector part has a plug housing (12). This has several connector chambers (32,33,34) and a housing body (23) connected to a plug housing (22). The housing body (23) has a cable inlet part (29) for a cable (31) connectable to a charge device (C), and a main cable path (55). The latter is in connection with the cable inlet part. The main cable path receives several supply lines connectable to an earth connection (36), a charge connection and other terminals (35) arranged in the connector chambers. The main cable path (55) receives at least two lead securing cables (57) arranged spaced apart from each other to avoid stress acting on the supply lines. A flow of electric current through the charge plug connector is possible when the current supply plug connector part (B) and the current load plug connector part (A) are completely coupled together.
