The electronic device has a housing and at least one connector module (32) fixedly connected to the housing. The connector module has first and second external electrical terminals accessible from outside the housing and corresponding internal first and second terminals inside the housing. A circuit board (22) is arranged in the housing. First and second terminals are electrically connected to the terminals of the connector module. A first connector part (70) is provided between the first terminal of the connector module (32) and the circuit board (22). A second connector part (70) is provided between the second terminal of the connector module (32) and the circuit board (22). All of the connector parts can be connected to the terminals of the connector module and of the circuit board via a solder-free plug connection. All of the connector parts are rigid parts with plug connection elements. The plug connection elements of all connector parts can be plugged together in a common plug direction either on sides of the circuit board or on sides of the connector module.
